IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The Embassy of Brazil in Wellington would like to inform that as of the 1st April 2011, the Consular Sector will no longer attend visa related queries by telephone.

All queries regarding visas should be sent by email to the Consular Sector at consular@brazil.org.nz.


 

Please note that the Consular Section DOES NOT ISSUE SAME DAY VISAS, unless in the case of a documented medical emergency.

Validity of Visas

For certain passports, the bearer must enter Brazil within ninety (90) days from the date of issuance of the visa, or it will no longer be valid. To see the list of passports that require entry into Brazil within 90 days, please click here.

 

Visa Fees

For all types of visa, an additional non-refundable handling fee per visa applies to applications submitted by mail or by any individual other than the applicant or applicant's immediate family member . To see the handling fee, please consult the Table of Consular Fees.
 

For all types of visa, an additional non-refundable reciprocity fee per visa applies to Emirati and American passport holders. For some types of visa, a non-refundable reciprocity fee may apply to British and French passport holders. For further details, please click here.
