Methods of Payment

From 01/04/2013 onwards the Consular Sector will no longer accept money orders for the payment of consular fees.

The Embassy of Brazil in Wellington only accepts the following means of payment for its consular services:

FOR ALL CONSULAR SERVICES:

1. Online bank transfer

If you choose to pay through this means, please send us first the complete documentation and wait for an email from the Consular Sector, containing the account details and authorizing the payment. You should inform us your email address.

ATTENTION: Upon making the bank transfer, the applicant must include their name as the Reference, so that we may track their payment. The Embassy will not be responsible for delays due to unidentified payments.

2. EFTPOS - when paid in person at the Embassy.

3. Credit Card - when paid in person at the Embassy.

Handling fee for Visas

An additional handling fee is incurred when the passport submitted for the issuance of a visa is not delivered by the applicant themselves or duly authorised immediate family member. The handling fee also applies to applications submitted by postal and courier services.

•In all cases, we will only accept the exact and correct fee for the consular service

•Applications/documents that are incomplete will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender

•We do not accept cash or cheques of any kind
