Methods of Payment
The Embassy of Brazil in Wellington only accepts the following means of payment for its consular services:
FOR ALL CONSULAR SERVICES:
1. New Zealand Post Money Order - available from New Zealand Post offices
Please, make sure you fill out all sections in the money order (name of sender and payable to the Embassy of Brazil).
2. EFTPOS - when paid in person at the Embassy
3. Credit Card - when paid in person at the Embassy
FOR VISAS AND PASSPORTS ONLY:
4. Online bank transfer.
If you choose to pay through this means, please first send us the complete documentation and wait for an email from the Consular Sector, containing the account details and authorizing the payment. You should also write the observation “Payment Online” on the Visa/Passport Form Delivery Receipt that is to be sent to the Embassy.
ATTENTION: Upon making the bank transfer, the applicant must include their name as the Reference, so that we may track their payment. The Embassy will not be responsible for delays due to unidentified payments.
Visas:
An additional handling fee is incurred when the passport submitted for the issuance of a visa is not delivered by the applicant themselves or duly authorised immediate family member. The handling fee also applies to applications submitted by postal and courier services.

Important:
- In all cases, we will only accept the exact and correct fee for the consular service
- Applications/documents that are incomplete will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender
- We do not accept cash or cheques of any kind
