THE BRAZILIAN CULTURAL EDUCATION - Auckland

Brazilians living in the Auckland region and wishing their children (aged between two and nine years) to maintain their Portuguese language may contact The Brazilian Cultural Education Centre.

First opened in July 2001, this centre already has a range of students. It focuses on the teaching of Portuguese, as well as the promotion of various forms of Brazilian cultural expression (music, folklore, literature, etc.)

Currently the school also offers a Portuguese language course for adults, and an English course for Brazilians and foreigners on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

The Brazilian Cultural Education is a non-profit organisation and is run completely through volunteer labour.
